100% Garment Inspection in India: When Checking Every Piece Pays Off

Most brands producing in India check their orders with AQL sampling: inspectors pull a statistical sample from the shipment and accept or reject the whole lot based on what they find. For many products that is enough. But for some orders, a sample simply cannot catch the defects that matter. That is where 100% garment inspection comes in: every single piece is checked before it leaves the factory.

What is 100% garment inspection?

In a 100% inspection, our inspectors examine each garment in the order instead of a sample. Faulty pieces are separated and sent back to the production line for correction while the goods are still at the factory, so what is packed and shipped is what you ordered.

When 100% inspection is worth it

• Handwork and embellishment: embroidery, beading, sequins, crochet and lace, where every piece is slightly different and defects vary from one garment to the next.

• Prints and colour: block prints, tie-dye and printed viscose, where misalignment and shade differences within a lot are common.

• High-value pieces: silk, cashmere and premium fabrics, where one faulty garment reaching a customer costs far more than the inspection.

• Shipments split across many retailers: when one lot goes to many stores, a single faulty batch turns into returns everywhere.

• New suppliers or suppliers with past quality issues.

What we check on every piece

Workmanship and finishing, measurements against your spec sheet, fabric defects and stains, print and colour consistency, trims and embellishments, and every element attached to the garment: main labels, care and composition labels, hang tags and packing. After each inspection we send a photo-rich report within 24 hours, so you and your supplier can act quickly.

100% inspection or AQL?
